McKinney officially welcomed its latest headquarters Friday, as Emerson Process Management opened its $25 million Regulator Technologies facility northeast of the U.S. Highway 75 and Sam Rayburn Tollway interchange.
A corporate anchor for the Gateway site, the three-story, 128,000-square-foot facility houses the design, testing and manufacture of regulator technologies, including pressure regulator and relief valve solutions for oil and gas, chemical, refining and power industries.
The facility features a flow lab that tests regulator products in extreme, real-life conditions with 16-inch test lines, 2,000 feet of process piping, five 6,000-gallon tanks of low-pressure air storage and two 2,000-gallon high-pressure air tanks.
“There is nobody that has the kind of lab we have today – it’s a one-of-a-kind in the industry,” said Randy Page, Regulator Technologies president. “McKinney will be synonymous with regulators for some time to come.”
